  • Update Regarding Multitracks + Registration

It's clear that this thread needs some love and attention. A lot of the links have either expired or been miss-labelled. With the amount of tracks there are, this is quite a practice. I have made the decision to lock this thread from further replies and to put out this notice that I will be refreshing this thread with updated links and guidance where needed.

I will update the thread on multitracks and the first post with any forth coming updates about this in due course. For information - I have also disabled user registrations to do some tidyup. Stay tuned.

Welcome Thread (1 Viewer)

Hi Greg, hi all.

Aaron here, aka Azza aka aazzaabb. I know all of you or at least 90 percent of peeps are all very familiar and well known. MJNO, MJJC, Max Jax -those were the good old days for sure.

My current home the past many years is mymjjforum where a group of us chat MJ all day and wind eachother up. But I stumbled on this place through watching an MJ News Digest video where he bigged this place up so I had to check it out and am happy I did.

Favourite tour is Bad. That is simply the greatest tour by anyone ever. Favourite album is HIStory; was blown away and equally delighted to hear MJ swear, and sonically I’m a massive fan of how majestic and cinematic that album is, and obviously the incredible songs MJ gave us.

Saw MJ in Dublin on the HIStory Tour. He literally hung right over my head during Earth Song and I thought “those feet are quite big!”.

Really nice to see some familiar names on here; Greg, Marni, Jovon etc.

Whoever came up with the chalk badge is genius! :ROFLMAO:

Oh wow! Azza! I remember you. It's so nice to have you here. I'm working right now, but I'll reply proper this evening. Thank you for joining!
You’re most welcome mate and thanks! Nice to be here!

I‘ve been browsing round the board. Love the layout and look, and lovely to see so many familiar names.

You can’t beat a good MJ forum.(y)

MJNO! I miss that place. Paul did such a good job. It was a fun and exciting time to be around then. And of course MaxJax, back in 2008!

Ah mymjjforum? Not heard of it. Yes! The MJNewsDigest does a fantastic job in getting content out there. @MJNewsDigest (Thanks! :p) We're also very happy you did too.

HIStory is extremely cinematic. Definitely that sweet spot with much of the best MJ visual content there is. Wow. You didn't want to grab onto the cherry picker and go way up? Haha.

Yes. We have a lot of old names here. We're finally all starting to get back together again. It's a lovely feeling. I'm sure you'll remember @GoldenCherry and @Moonstreet too!

I take full credit for this! ^ :D

Thank you. It's taken me a long while to decide on how things will be run, and the layout. There are more changes to come down the road, but I'm starting to be happy with the way things have shaped out. If there's anything you think is missing, or something you would like to see - please feel free to message me. My ears are open.

See you around and thank you for posting! :)

Yes! If I remember correctly you guys sprang MaxJax from the closure of MJNO. Both wonderful boards. That original MaxJax was wonderful. Half the peeps from MJNO went to MJCommunity and the rest of us went to you guys. Those were magical times.

Yes, of course I remember GoldenCherry and Moonstreet. It’s lovely to see all those names.

The fans have really been a rock for not only MJ but for other fans too. My mind is always blown when I consider the wealth of talent within the fan community. Whether it’s books, videos, remixes, podcasts, it’s made the journey really something special. I purchased Richard Lecocq’s All The Songs book from Amazon yesterday morning and then a few hours later see he’s a member here also. Brilliant.

I love the layout of BTM and I especially love the concept of badges. That’s such an MJ-esque thing and a lovely touch. Fair play to you on the chalk badge! That little in-joke deserves an award all on its own haha.

MJ over my head on the cherry picker man!! I know there’s fans here who met and spent time with MJ, but I feel blessed that I was that close for a few moments.

Hi, I found BTM from the MJCast which I love. I've been a dedicated fan all my life my childhood was full of 70's disco, funk and pop music so of course Michael Jackson is my top artist. I also love R&B, New Jack Swing, Janet Jackson, Jacksons, Prince etc.. and loads of guilty pleasures across music. I consider myself knowledgeable about his life and career but I'm always looking for new Michael Jackson news and chit chat.

I love MJ remixes, the fan community is great in this department, I'm an amature 'remix' person so if the rules allow, I might post a few.

I miss the Michael Jackson forums from 'the old days'
- I can't remember all the forum names now but around 2000 ish 'smooth-criminal' was up and we had a blast discussing Michael, The Artist. My username back then was Durrson (stylised as "Ðúřř§õń" - but hey we were young then :). I'm looking forward to this format again, reading the posts and chatting with everyone. :)
I feel you brother! And please post some remixes. There can never be enough MJ remixes!

Hello everyone,
I am Richard Lecocq, mJ fan since 1983.
I am co-author of Thriller 25 and MJ All the Songs
Author of Michael Jackson KING
Editor in chief of INVINCIBLE and JAM magazines
Contributor to several MJ related projects
And also a music lover in general :)

Nice to meet you all!
I bought your Thriller 25 book when it was released. Such a nostalgic throwback! I love that book.

I only just received my copy of Michael Jackson All The Songs a few days ago which I paid £16:99 for on Amazon which is a complete steal for what you get.

It. Is. Stunning! I don’t even know how they can sell such a luxurious coffee table book for this price?!

The presentation is fantastic and It’s beautifully presented, it’s as much a piece of art memorabilia for display in a cabinet or on a coffee table as it is a book to read. It weighs a bit too. Thanks for creating it.

Sorry to derail. Just had to give this a mention. (y)

I also would like to say how much I love and enjoy MJ All The Songs... I've not read it all yet, I tend to dip in an out as I'm reading something else or listening to an album. Every time I read a section, I search online for more info and related tracks from music producers etc.. I've found, reading as much as I can about a track first (from multiple books or online articles), then listening to it, really enhances the enjoyment more. It's especially good with the HIStory album and The Story Of HIStory. I'll never get sick of more MJ :)

Hi Everyone!

I ended up here after someone who I knew from PosMike suggested it to me. Previously I was active on PosMike and MJJC with some variation of my same username.

I became a fan when I was 12 years old, I would not say I have a favorite album as it has changed depending on where I am in life but Invincible will always hold a very special place in my heart as it was the first full album I bought when I became a fan as it had just been released around when I became a fan.

It's been so long since I've been active on any forums that I'm not really sure what else to say other than I'm really excited to be here among others who love to discuss MJ!

Hi there! My name is Charlie. Thank you for inviting me to the forum!
I am (nearly at time of writing) 35 years old, have been an MJ fan since I was about 12 years old although I've always had the knowledge that he was the benchmark and the greatest singer/dancer since I can remember, about age 5. My favourite album will always be Thriller, but I go in stages of listening to most of the other albums. I live in Sydney, Australia although I'm originally from Devon in the South West of England, and I recently joined the team at The MJCast with Elise and Jamon.

I have visited the USA and many MJ related locations along the way, including Neverland Ranch (which I also viewed from the air after hiring an aircraft), Hayvenhurst, Carolwood, Thriller filming locations, Hoyt-Schermerhorn, Vegas houses and more.

This is the first dedicated Michael Jackson forum I have ever joined, although I am experienced in forums around my lifetime passions of aviation and, in particular, Concorde. Look forward to seeing what this journey brings!

Thanks I'm fine. Sorry, I don't come often!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
It's okay! No need to be sorry. It's nice that you're here regardless! We're aiming to get more content and discussion going here.

Hi! :) I remember PosMike! Used to be very cool from what I remember. I loved their banner. Had MJ with shades on right?

Invincible was my first album too! I then bought HIStory Greatest Hits and then, you could say - The rest is history. Thank you for joining us!

Hi Charlie! You're very much welcome.

Oooh. Someone slightly older than me! (I'm 34 this July coming). A fellow Brit! Glad to have another 'Aussie' here though. I love the MJ Cast!

What was your general feeling behind Carolwood? I always felt it was beautiful but slightly eerie. Not the same feeling as Neverland.

I'm glad you've joined us! Great things to come!

Thank you!

I'm not sure how I felt about it. Obviously sadness at it being the place it all ended, but also a little frustration at how easy it would have been to get help there earlier (I don't buy this crap about the delay in calling 911 being due to not knowing the address... he managed to find that address when arriving for "work" all the previous times). Ultimately it was just somewhere I wanted to see for myself in real life, not just as a picture on a TV screen.

Hello! My name is Matilde.
I'm 70 years old, I've been a fan of MJ since 2009, my favorite album is Invincible. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Hey Matilde! How are you? Out of pure interest - What made you become a fan? I've never been to Argentina, but I'd love to visit! Welcome :)

Hi all,

My name is Jack and I have been an MJ fan since I was 6 so coming up to 30 years now. I listen to MJ everyday and have a collection of memorabilia. I have been a member of other forums in the past such as MJstar and MJFU.

I heard about Behind The Mask on the MJcast podcast, of which I'm an avid listener. Looking forward to having some interesting conversations.

Kind regards
