What the fans have been asking for since the first hint of the original cover promoted by Sony/The MJ Estate. We even, at the time managed to get a quote from Jeff Jampol dubbing the design as a potential fake/dupe/bootleg cover (how embarassing!)

Thriller 40 Album Cover?
Thanks to a fan on twitter sharing a link, its possible this is the intended cover art for a future album release.
The release is listed on a site called SmfStore.

It currently lists two formats. 2-Disc and Vinyl.

This new cover has appeared on Amazon Germany with no prior warning. It has replaced the original listing. Is this real? Is this another mistake?
This cover appears to be much more classy and simple. Just what the album needs. Still no word from The Estate though on why they changed? What happened to being 'edgy' ?
