  • Update Regarding Multitracks + Registration

It's clear that this thread needs some love and attention. A lot of the links have either expired or been miss-labelled. With the amount of tracks there are, this is quite a practice. I have made the decision to lock this thread from further replies and to put out this notice that I will be refreshing this thread with updated links and guidance where needed.

I will update the thread on multitracks and the first post with any forth coming updates about this in due course. For information - I have also disabled user registrations to do some tidyup. Stay tuned.

jacksons

Triumph is the fourteenth studio album by the Jacksons, released in 1980 on Epic Records.
It was certified platinum in the US and peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. The Triumph album sold three million copies in its original run. Hit singles from the album were "Lovely One", "Heartbreak Hotel" (which was renamed "This Place Hotel" to avoid confusion with the Elvis Presley song of the same name) and "Can You Feel It".
The Jacksons shared lead vocals and solo spots on some songs, but Michael Jackson, who had recently released his multi-platinum selling album, Off the Wall, handles most of the lead vocal and writing duties. Triumph was the Jacksons' first album to reach number-one on the Billboard R&B Albums chart since Maybe Tomorrow in 1971. The album sold over two million copies worldwide, and the Jacksons did not release another studio LP until Victory in 1984. On December 10, 1980, the album was certified Platinum for the sales of over 1 million copies in the United States. It was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 1981.
