officially joined the Estates legal team in its arbitration case over the 'Leaving Neverland' TV show. Mesereau has continued to defend Michael Jackson over the years, especially since the airing of the HBO mockumentary Leaving Neverland in 2019 and was doing some consultancy work for the estate.

The Estates suit against HBO involves a contract the network had with Michael Jackson dating back to 1992 for a concert film, the contract included a non-disparagement clause which HBO agreed to. According to Showbiz 411, arbitrators are being chosen now and the process is set to begin within the next month.

Tom Mesereau of course called Wade Robson to the stand as the first witness for the defence in 2005 and if Robson testifies at the arbitration, he may very well be facing Mesereau again.

It is fantastic to see that Tom Mesereau has joined the Estates team along with Bryan Freedman and Jonathan Steinsapir!
